Mavic CXP23s on an all-rounder?

Since I know some people use "all-rounders" for rando rides, etc., I figured this might be a good forum to ask. If there's a more appropriate one for all-rounder questions, please let me know.

Any opinions about whether a Mavic CXP23 / 105 hub wheelset would be able to hold up to all-rounder style use, e.g., some trails, gravel, etc.?

Thanks!

I googled Mavic CXP-23 and found this review http://www.roadbikereview.com/cat/wh...5_2488crx.aspx

I've done 8200 km on my set of CXP23s (on different hubs). They run exactly as when I bought them: I have not had to touch the spokes.

NB 138 lb rider, stick to smooth roads on this bike, but I have a big problem with bunny-hopping things compulsively and jumping gutters...

It's a very strong rim and should be fine as long as it's built properly.

I would never go that far but they are awesome rims for the money and very tough.
