Assistance Please On A Cannondale Synapse Hi-MOD

I have a chance to purchase a new Men's 2014 Cannondale Synapse Hi-MOD 3 Ultegra endurance road bike for a killer deal, but I'm wondering if I should wait to see if Cannondale introduces disc brakes for their 2015 models.....which may or may not happen and then probably not until around September. I have hydraulic disc brakes on my high-end mountain bike and they are nice, but I'm just getting into road bike riding and I don't know if it's worth waiting for. Thoughts anyone?

Not worth it even if they do introduce it.
