Stress went really well, that's the first time I've ever been on a treadmill and got some cool patterns shaved on my chest
Clinically negative, electrically negative, no arrhythmia's (resting ECG still "abnormal" but not an issue). Rules out a lot of concerns. Still waiting on the ECHO but was told nothing is off limits.
Thinking back. When this all started I was going through a tough block, more VO2 work than I've done in a very long time. At the same time I had a huge issue at work. I'm used to dealing with a lot of stress but think I often discount how much of it my body absorbs. I need to be more conscious of that & back training down to lower intensity when work gets insane. This time I had made a conscious decision not to do that, was too much.
Did some Over Unders on the TT bike Thursday. 3x15 SS on tap for Saturday. Have time to tune up for a TT in mid July. Really thinking about getting back on the Track sometime this summer.

Great news!
Getting thoroughly checked out when "something feels Wrong" is way smart.
As Roseanne Rosannadanna once said: "Well, Never Mind". Seems like you are Good to Go.

Did 2x20 on the TT Bike Saturday, staying on the low side of SS. Just trying to relax and feel efficient. I can honestly say that is the best I have ever felt Aero. Averaged 23 mph on NP of 202W for the intervals. Wearing regular road helmet & jersey with stuff in the pockets. I had pushed 20 min power up to 260 W (pretty good for me) before backing off in March, so have some potential to go fast I think.
Sunday was a 3 hr progressive ride, came home with a solid 180 TSS for the day. Feel good.
Oh finally got the ECHO results today. Nothing, zip.

A little testing at race pace Saturday. Tried several TT bar configurations in a stiffer than expected crosswind. Too close to call on performance but hands a little higher did seem to help with control. A longer ride today, around 200 TSS and felt great from start to finish.

Huge win for you on "Good to Go!", puts being on a podium step in a bike race in the proper perspective.
Now, get out there and have at it!

The summer challenge, a 20 year old shoulder injury that for no apparent reason has decided to be relevant again. Any rotation is painful, that keep you up half the night kind of ache. I had to widen my pads quite a bit to accommodate. Wider elbows & hands together seems to put my shoulder in a neutral enough position to manage. Can't really shrug though. Did a couple of race pace runs on a 10K out & back and was reasonably comfortable. A few wincing moments on some rough patches, It kept my mind off my legs
20K tomorrow on a course I know well. Should be interesting.

Not so good. Threw the chain twice on the way out, no idea. Ended half assing almost 20m out and three quarter assed 14:50 back. On the return shoulder discomfort had me out of the pads at least 3 times, wobbling down hills in fear of my life. Honestly not worth the effort.

Nice try, really.
Coming back from an injury and still pinning on a number and having at it, regardless of the result, is commendable.

It has been a mild summer this year. 94-95 instead of the usual 104-105. CR 251 is a great backroad no traffic.

Tennis is far better than ROAD cycling for a-hole factor. After the attitude I got going to an OUTREACH from the local club, I'm out. BMX racing I find good.
