I'm not even smart enough to understand my results. Hoping to hear myself.

AzTR - Great to hear!

Gary - If your FTP isn't at least 200% of mine, you're a wuss.

This will be within 5 hrs of my home. https://runbikerace.com/2013/12/09/mi...me-sneak-peek/ it's an hour closer than the drive to Indy! Pittsburgh opens a indoor 200m track in March too! That venue will be two hours away. https://bikepgh.org/2013/09/04/pg-vel...en-in-january/ I see opportunities popping up as I hope to end working in March.

Another "raise the cadence" training ride. When I started the temperature was 34 degrees. It climbed all the way up to 39 while I was out there. Gee. TSS 106.7, IF 0.911, NP 134. I noticed my heart rate is higher in cold temps than in moderate temps. By the same token, it's higher yet when it's really warm outside. My power goes down in those conditions, too.

Now now... I'll be working on getting my bike handling back up to snuff, so hopefully folks won't have look out too too much.

In fact, I'll be setting up a course in a church parking lot to ensure the arm and off-time isn't setting me back. I still feel just a bit 'awkward', and of course that bothers me. I'm going to try and get some teammates to come out to play, so we can throw in some bumping and grabbing, rkwaki style.

That HR thing is why freezing half to death is so effective a weight loss technique.

Hmmm. I should sleep outside, then.

FIFY. Film at 11?

Recovery ride, 1:07, HR 97, 96 watts AP, 20.7 TSS, .43 IF. Cancellera shudders when he hears my stats...he's trying as hard as possible to contain his laughter.

Sara - Temps here are about the same. Wish it'd warm up!

22 degrees with 30 mph wind this evening. I cancelled the group night ride and will be showering the rollers for 1.5 hrs at higher cadence.

No data other than time and distance. (Waiting on a refurbished Garmin). I guess I can go in the 41 and ask if my average speed is good enough to race.

Rode the fixed gear to the club. Did the masters swim for an hour then rode home after several errands. Tired. Nice that it warmed up...supposed to see 70 this weekend. Snow on the mountains.

This is called juxtaposition.

FTP Test tonight. Same as 4 weeks ago, 2.FAT W/kg, which is amazing since I've done about nothing but sit in a tree...

80' on the rollers list night was not fun. The national news, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy were not good choices on the projector screen. I'll try to have fun tonight at the indoor cycling workout. Tomorrow's high is 16 degrees so I'll be back on the rollers with the fixie doing ILD's and z2 saddle time. Hopefully I'll find something good on TV to distract me from the clock.

I can't emphasize enough proper entertainment for indoor training. I save TV shows for the entire year for winter training. I'm finishing up House of Cards now. I also have a computer directly next to my trainer so I can do some surfing.

Get a good enough show and you'll look forward to training so you can see how it turns out. I'm saving homeland for the deeper build cycle

I thought I recorded some bike races and a few concerts like Joe Bonamassa. Alas, my wife filled the DVR with Hallmark channel Christmas shows and House Hunters International.
