Hi, here's the race rig with the SRM:
Looks a lot different, doesn't it?

Hi All, thanks for the kind words about the bike. Part of why I love this sport is the equipment. Bikes are just cool piece of machinery and the way we use them to go fast is just plain fun for me.

Propel in training mode (awaiting delivery of the racing wheels). 15lbs 9oz, a bit heavier than the Madone:

I like that bike a lot. The fit looks more aggressive than your other bikes.

It's definitely more aggressive, with a drop of about 6 inches. I'll ride it awhile before I cut the steerer tube. With the greater drop, I think the stock 120mm stem will work fine, and the fitter concurs. I'm playing with the saddle height a bit. Fitter set it to 90cm from BB to saddle top, to ensure I keep my toes down. That causes some issues, even at yesterday's recovery pace, and so I dropped it to what I have evolved to on the TT bike, and the max I've been comfortable with on other bikes: 89cm.
Bike is definitely stiff, and the handling seems quicker than the Madone. Will know more after the practice crit tonight.

AzTR, that bike looks very aero -- especially for a big bike. It's also really light for something with that much carbon fiber. I presume your race wheels will be at least 0.5 lbs lighter.
Moving your saddle by 1 cm sounds like a lot. It would be a lot for me, but I am MUCH shorter. I raised the saddle on my TT bike by 4 mm in 2 mm increments over a couple of months. Still not sure if that was a good thing.
Looks like you need to be pretty flexible to reach your water bottle.
Ride fast, ride carefully, have fun!

It's. lot easier to reach the bottle with more drop. It's a b**ch reaching down on the Gunnar. A cm is a lot, but it's getting me back closer to where I was. And it's in the range where it feels good, though I may try to ease it up a touch over time. What the fitter wanted was too much of an increase all at once. Knee was complaining...

got it built today. that's why I rode the fixed gear for four hours. I can't read my spreadsheet without my SRM.

nice bike. Suddenly I feel fashionable, riding a Giant. That hasn't happened before. On the other hand, mine is six years old...

It's the day for Giants... in any color you want so long as it's black. Looks great, G. Love the stealth wheels.

out walking the earth
at 16lbs (I'm waiting on a stem) it's a tank. then again I'm skipping the KOM contest on the Kol d'Prospect Park.
It was hard for me to justify getting the SL though, and I'm really over the ISP.
