Two beds. Leaves Socal TBD
Can I call dibs on one of the beds?

It looks great Ex, but it's missing a cabinet to store the Prius once you get there.

My goal would be to travel to races in this G280 with a 3600 mile range cruising at Mach .8.

It looks like I'll only be going if I am "forced to retire" before then as my wife's running race is a week before the cycling events. 1-1/2 weeks in Cleveland, not counting transit, won't work if I'm working. If I'm not...

However, I am 99% sure we'll do the Huntsman Games in October 2013.

Last year the Ohio State Masters Road Race Championships would have been the weekend before this year's NSG. Once it's posted I'll let you guys know about it. I plan to take the week of the NSG off, if I'm still working my 3 day a week job.

Okay, I'm registered now, for all 4 events - just need to sort out how I'm getting there, with my bikes. Maybe I'll stand on the freeway with my bikes and my thumb out for when Ex blasts past.

Cleave? Any update for you?

Discounted registration ends 1/31.

That's my initial thought, unless I end up driving. Been looking at cases that will handle my frames.

Great point. Are you taking two bikes plus race / training wheels?

Unfortunately, I am NOT going. The only mitigating factor (interestingly enough) is if I get laid off before then. Then I might go (solo). My wife's event is the Saturday before cycling starts so that would require her to hang out in Cleveland for a week (less the time trial days) and that's not going to happen. We were actually thinking about the World Masters Games in Torino, Italy, but they are too close to when our youngest is starting college.

Right now our plan is to do the Huntsman World Senior Games. They have a 40 Km TT, hillclimb TT, criterium, and road race. During the same week they have a number of road (running) races from which my wife can choose. I guess I'll start a separate thread for the Huntsman Games.

I know that some people ship at least one bike and some of their gear via FedEx or UPS. They usually designate a specific LBS to receive the bikes and gear.

I thought that I posted this before but I must not have. You can always ship your bikes to my house via UPS or FedEx then assemble them once you arrive.

Two: TT and Road. Same racing wheels for both, I just add wheel covers to the rear for the TT's. So I can basically just bring two sets of wheels; the training wheels from the road bike with it, and the Zipps with the TT bike, and have backup if something happens to a race wheel.

I am going to discuss this with Mrs. Shovel and decide by the end of the month. No way I am going to pay a higher rate. If I go I will be driving and staying at a hotel. The only events I will be doing are the 20K and 40K.

I'm in. 20K and 40K. I'll be driving out and back. I may have spawn #2 with me. Mrs. Shovel may fly out for the races and the drive back. She has to work on Friday.

Great to hear, Shovel. I'm going to focus my training on the TT's, and will do all I can to support you in the 20K and 40K.
