Man cold and training.
Hey guys,
So tomorrow is my first race of the season and I'm not going to be able to do it due to a lingering cold/fever that I've had for the last 5 days. I have another race the following Sunday and would like to get on my bike and spin the legs on the trainer a bit. I was still running a fever last night but now with the help of some cold meds, it's down. My legs are super achy and i'm short of breath so I'm not sure it's a good idea.
I'm talking like zone 2-3 kind of stuff, no hard efforts at all.
What's the right, or wrong thing to do?

There's been some discussion of this in the training thread. Being short of breath implies that it has got to your chest. Under those circumstances I wouldn't train, expereince tells me it just delays my recovery.

I'm in the opposite camp. For me riding can help get the congestion out. I just wouldn't let it fatigue me.
