Not a troll thread although it has all the elements.
For MTB racing, and maybe only racing, what is the best setup. What do the pros use?
For cross used FMB tubulars (glue on) and I see they make MTB tyres (being French and all). On road, I know the answer.
This will be short track and xc. Pro level.

I kind of thought Dugast was the only game in town now --- I was trying to set up a bike with tubulars last year and just threw my hands up in defeat after a while (was not a true racing operation, -- but I was building up a really special old hardtail -- just couldn't find any 26" tubular rims to build with a rim brake profile)

Will be watching your thread though to see if anyone chimes in with some good responses as I am interested too

I got a hard Veto by the rider that Tubulars are out for MTB. I think he's wrong, but what the rider thinks is more important than what it is.

I would have gone FMB, but just cause Francois is my buddy.
