Bike Gear Ratios
I am trying to possibly build a Drag Bike and trying to figure out the Gear Ratios for High Gear; from 1st to 6th. I have a Hyper HPR S with Goodyear Performance Tires. Also trying to figure out what my max rpm or cadence is. Id like to know how high and fast my bike runs with each gear in high gear. I know theres bikes that vary from 60 rpm to as high as 150-170 rpm. Hoping for some help here. Cant find my bikes specs online anywhere and Hyper doesnt know their own bike line. Already called. The bike is stock; except for the performance tires.

Why do you want to drag race a mountain bike?

No. That's the Havoc. Lighter than the HPR S and faster due to weight and an extra gear. This is the HPR S (AKA SHOCKER). And because it's fun to race. May as well drag race my bike until I get the money to restart my NHRA racing.

Still waiting on the answer to my question. Or atleast the cog and sprocket teeth count for 1st to 6th and high gear (largest sprocket on the front, near the pedals. )

Drag Racer - This is a forum for human powered bicycles, pretty sure you will find better answers at a forum that is about drag racing and not about mountain biking.

You can drag race any vehicle and a Bike is a vehicle. And I found the gear ratios. Thread can be closed.
