It's awesome. Excellent loop, really fun.
I did the full Green Valley Loop several years ago, but I've done the Bear Claw Poppy part (which is what you'd finish up with if you did the whole loop) several times in the last couple of years, and it's total riippin' fun. Swoopy, roller-coastery, places to catch air, some steep ledgy downhills (short ones)... It's really fun, and of course since it's St. George, it's ridable almost all year long, and usually in great shape during the winter.
The Bear Claw Poppy Trail is usually pretty crowded on weekends, so hit it on a weekday, or in the early morning.

Hey I appreciate the positive feedback. I race Monday..women's uphill..Tuesday..cross country. I am looking forward to exploring MTB trails in the St. Georege area. Some Moab guides say there are alot of good rides out that way...

Best ride in the St. George area (in my opinion) is Gould's Rim to the JEM Trail. It's a big long loop that has everything: beautiful scenery, good climbs, fun fun FUN singletrack descents. Trailhead is in Hurricane, UT (just NE of St. George, by Zion Nat'l Park) -- I think!! Ask a bike shop, for sure. Great loop. Took me about 4 hours (first time I rode it, and including an out-and-back along the Virgin Rim Canyon).
You know some Moab guides? I used to live in Moab for about 5 years, about 5 years ago. Great place! I miss it.
