First endurance race.
Did my first 18-hour race this weekend. It was, simply put, completely awesome.
We ended up going with a team of 3 in a 4-person category as we scrambled to find a 4th person but couldn't. Ah well, it didn't slow us down all that much; ended up with 1st in our division.
Got just above an hour of sleep last night. Night trail riding is awesome. You've gotta try it if you haven't already!
For now, it's back to sleep. I woke up and thought it was morning, but nope, still 8PM.

Hey I know your post is old.. but anyhow...
I hope to do a night riding adventure race sometime within the next year. I can imagine that it would be a blast. I would need to get some night lights: helmet and bike.
I haven't ridden in the dark in the woods but I'll jump at the chance if the opportunity presents itself.
Glad to hear of your outing.
