what kind of wheelset should I get?

I am new on the MTB forum, but am a reglar on the Road forum. Anywho, I am going to start racing XC again this season with a little more regularity. After taking a 4th place lasy year in an 8 hour solo my XC spark has been relite. My question is what would be your recommendation for a cool tricked out wheelset for my Rocky Mountain Team Scandium w/SID race's
Full 2003 XTR, with some Easton and race face parts on it. With the current wheels (Hugi hubs & mavic 517) it weighs just over 20 lbs. Also I don't want to use discs.

Thanks for your suggestions.

Take a look at the American Classic Non-disc 350 wheelset. They weigh in at 1448 grams for the set, very light. You could also give Mike Garcia at Odds and Endos a call. Have him build you up a great wheelset at a very reasonable price. Go for the WTB labeled American Classic hubs laced to some lightweight rims, you will definately be happy with him.

Either way, good luck with the racing.

They are very nice wheels. I am using the American Classic mtb disc 350's and I am very impressed with them so far.
