So I'm going to do my first race on Sunday...

This may should like a silly question, but should i register in the beginner or sport class? I have been riding for about three years now and feel comfortable riding out of my comfort zone for the sport distance, but i have never raced before. Should i just swallow my pride and enter the beginner? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot and happy trails!

There is never shame in beginning at beginner.

If it's your first race do beginner, so that you get a chance to learn the ropes of racing. You may find it tougher than you think especially if you have some sand baggers racing in beginner.
