XC races in Utah
Can anyone recommend a connection/link to XC races in Utah? I am looking for a beginner race. I have never raced before. I would also be interested in a good reference book on mtn bike racing if someone could recommend one. Also, any tips you can provide for a newbie would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I'm in Utah as well - Provo. I'm new to mountain biking, esp. XC racing. So, 5-mile pass race is little too soon for me. If you guys do it, please keep us posted. Thanks.
