Chequamegon 40 (PIX!)
This was the first time I've seen this race (some day I'll ride it). Heck, it was the first time I've been up to Hayward when it wasn't snowing! Anyway, the heavy rains held off just long enough to get the race in. Temp was 58 with on and off drizzle. Not bad for a long MTB race.
I'll have all my PIX and VIDEO!! up by later tonight (Sunday).

Overall winner Jonathon Page (Silver Medalist in the 2007 Cyclocross Word Champs)

I know that guy in the second pic, #113. He rides for Titus now. Hes a pretty cool dude.
I would be doing that race but the age limit is 18 which is odd

There are some beautiful trails in that area. Last year's winner was on a rigid singlespeed 29er, if I remember correctly.

That's right. Jesse LaLonde won last year on a rigid single-speed 29er. Supposedly Gary Fisher said after he won, "Great, now how are we going to sell bikes with gears?".
He also won the 12-race series here in Wisconsin last year.

The LaLonde brothers are amazing athlets. They are right next to each other the whole way and just smoking the people behind them.
