Like everybody's been saying, Full suspension are a lot more comfortable. BUT it easier to ride distances on a Hard Tail or Rigid. With the money you have, you could get a really good HT, and maybe a suitable FS. I find HT can be used for a variety of riding then FS, but it really depends on what type of riding your doing and what you prefer and feel more comfortable in.
