How did I do?

I picked up a Ironhorse Warrior Disc at Dick's Sporting goods for $299.99. This is my first decent bike I have owned. I was going to get a specialized hardrock but found this price on this bike. I was also looking at Trek's but decided to go with this bike.

Anything that needs replaced? And what are your feelings on this model?

Yeah my friend was recently looking at one of them.

For the price they look great, Got Disc Brakes and everything.

For a first or one of your first Mt. Bikes it seems good

I took it for a ride tonight. It is very comfortable and easy to ride. I couldn't use it to its fullest potential today. I am still to sore from riding the trails yesterday. That crappy mongoose I borrowed sucked. It would not stay in any gear besides 5th without slipping. And the seat was horrible.

The Ironhorse is nice. Shocks work great and so far the disc brakes seem great. The ironhorse is fairly light and very easy to manuver. I got a 17.5'' since I am only around 5' 10''. All gears work great.

Overall I like it better than my friends specialized hardtail. Which is what I almost purchased.

I think this will be a very good bike. I will be doing some pretty tough riding in July in the mountain area. Buddy is going to WVU so I will be staying up there some.

I got a 3 year warrenty with the bike also. Covers everything. Even things caused by riding. Say my derailer gets snagged and breaks..covered. Free tune-ups also.

You might want to check your local dick's sporting goods and see what they have. I was thinking about getting a k2 they had but it has grip shifters...which I hate.
