Fizik Arione on MTB

I had given up on this seat for my road bike. For me in the drops, it's like trying to sit on a baseball bat. So I went with a Selle SMP on the road bike and tossed the Arione in the crap pile. Well I broke my MTB seat and slapped on the Arione - 1 nose down = perfect - such a nice seat on the MTB - nice !

So - if you have an old seat that didnt work for a different bike give it a try, never know.

I did the same thing on my hardtail. I tried the Fizik on the road bike and did not like it. I put it on the MTB because the color matched nicely and it worked great. On the hardtail I only sit about half the time anyway so why not.

If it works for you than it is perfect. I have to say that I love the Arione. They are great seats for road or apparently mtb.

This doesn't really surprise me at all, given that your body position and hip angle are probably quite different between your road bike and MTB.

I ride a Fizik Antares Versus on road & CX, and a WTB Vigo on MTB.
