I used to ride a bike for fun and would hit a few trails around here probably 15 years ago. A friend of mine talked me into getting back into it. I will admit im pretty cheap and prefer to buy used. The used market in my area is VERY slim but I happened up on what I think was a good deal. Found a young buck with a 2011 Trek 4300 he needed $100 and I needed a bike. His dad was pretty upset that his son "never" rode it.
Anyway im pumped to get on this thing but I had surgery and its gonna be a few more weeks before I can ride.
Just wanted to introduce myself. Im sure to have a few questions along the way.

Good stuff man, I took a long break from mountain biking also and have recently got back into it as well. Hope you enjoy it and best of luck on the surgery recovery.
