mtn wheel rebulding.

Hello Bike forum community, i have a question regarding new spokes for my mountain bike.
my current set ( the originals to the bike ) are getting a bit tired and ive already had one break on me. ontop of that almost all the nipples are worn to the point they need to be replaced.

i figure my best bet is to go to square one and rebuild completely, changing the spoke color in the process like ive wanted to for some time now.
im just not sure what parameters to look for in a mtb spoke, im currently looking at some db sapim and db dtswiss options but im not sure if i should go 1.5m center, 1.8m center or DB at all for that matter. my current spokes are straight, i ride mostly xc/ single track so i dont need super heavy ones requited for downhill applications but are db strong enough?
and for nipples i cant decide on aluminum or brass, i hear alot of good things about brass but it would reverse any lightning the db spokes would give me over my current setup. is it worth it over the aluminum?

thanks, this site has been my go to for bike info for some years now. such a great community.

What's the current wheel? would look at this, condition of the hub & rim & cost of re-build inc spokes vs just buying a new wheel.

For the color of spokes, black or silver are you only real options, for the double/triple butting, triple is more expensive than double.

outer rim is sun rims single track hubs are shimano hb-m525 viam front and fh-m525 viam rear. all appears to be in good shape.

looks like the hubs go for 30 front 35 rear and the rims go for 35 ,roughly anyways.

and for colors i am going black with eitrher brass ( gold ) nipples or red .
