opinion on frame.

I have a KHS Double Butted Aluminum Frame.. Not sure of the series of aluminum though. It was bought on the 2000 Alite 1000 but the parts have been changed since.. What are your opinions on this frame. I ride harder than the average person buying this bike. I also plan to race. Will it hold up or not. How does it compare to the Alite 4000 frame. Thanx.

I'm not too sure on that grade of Aluminium to tell you the truth, but KHS bikes are nice, I like them.

How much is the frameset going for? If it's under $350, it might be worthwhile considering steel over Aluminium?
