hi. i have finished my bike and am slightly curious to hear some opinions.
the frame is a GT Backwoods, fork is the old but working marzocchi bomber z2 i asked about earlier, headset and stem are stock handlebar is a Kore, notthat it's important really, the wheels are deore disc with sun ryhno lite rims tiers are mythos in front something else in back. Shifters are sram attack, brake levers are the techpro cheapies. the actual brakes for now are new shimano cantis, soon to be upgraded to disc. the cranks are deore, front and rear derailuer is deore lx and the cassette is deore. a mismatch of parts to be sure , I probably should have just purchased a new bike but this was alot more fun/frustrating. oh i also have clipless pedals , i don't know the model, they are shimano. tell me what you think, or don't feel free to make sarcastic comments too.

Sounds flexy.

Ok, really sound like a decent build, I'd start saving for a newer fork, really have no idea of what shape or how much life the Z2 has in it. Oh, btw, we need pictures.

thanks i assume flexy is a compliment. i am planning on a new fork once this one dies. the original owner was in the army and barely rode the bike, it was sold to my friend after the army man married my buddys sister, he never rode the bike but it did see about 6 monthes of abuse by a drunken idiot who used it to commute to work so the shock may very well have a ton of life, it may also break tomorrow. its next followed by disc brakes.

pics will come sometime. Raiyn, I will try to help you understand. Man has friend. Friend has sister. Sister begins to date a man who serves in the U.S Army. They marry. Friend ( now brother in law to Man serving in U.S Army) buys bikes (two). Friend gives friend bike (one) to rebuild and ride. Minus the bike transactions of this type of activity manage to occur on a global scale. Women marry men. Some of these men may serve in some capacity as soldiers for their government.
It was mentioned to show the lack of use to the fork. I live in Kansas City, but I believe the dating, marriage and first bike transaction occured in the state of New York. Thanks for your input though.
