I got my 2005 in early august, maybe the 2006 models will be out around that time also.
November is way too long, you'll die of impatience. Go for it sooner :) |
I would get it sooner, but i've just fixed up my current bike for the last time..$100 worth of repairs ect., so i'm gonna be using that this winter..then hopefully i'll get something cheap at the sales later this year, or even before in November maybe.

its asurance but doesn't mean you shouldn't look elsewhere and test ride. |

I would try the Cinder Cone for the fun of it..you never know, i'll be able to bargain a few $$ of with cash..?
|
You could probably get $100 off at the most. When i bought my Giant Yukon the guy said he would knock off $50 if you had payed cash, in the end i got $100 off. :)
|
I paid cash and didn't get any off mine... :(

Well I got half price cause i knew the guy with the bike i have now ;). But yeh i presume $100 off for cash..maybe try n bargain it down  . What RRP are they in the US? I'll try and convert the price to get an idea to what its like with the $$ over here... |
I think retail for the HR Sport is $350, that's what it seems to be almost everywhere.
|
Wow it should be $450 in AUS...thats still about half the price! Although theres shipping and other stuff probably..and from what the HR sports seems like, it seems a good deal for its money.
|
It may be a good bike, but you always have to test ride it.

I'm choosing between the Sport Disk and the Comp Disk. I would prefer the comp disk, its about $75-$100 more but the reviews on it are A LOT better then the Sport Disk. Apparently the major let down on the Sport Disk is the RST fork, Comp having Marchozzi. So If I could find a Comp, which I havn't in '05, I might wait for the '06 to come out.
