Cyclocomputer

I have one on my Surly but I feel like I watch it too much. Instead of just riding and having a good time, I find myself looking to see how far I've ridden and what not. I'm thinking about ditching it, anyone else ditch theirs?

Just put one on. Hopefully I don't get addicted to it, but I just wanna check see how fast I get going, and what kinda distances I go recreationally before I get into any xc racing.

i dont bother with them. I broke my last one because i got it caught in a branch and after that i said screw it.

I ditched the mount I had on the trail bike. I still run one on the commuter so I can keep track of mileage on parts. (I'm trying to track how long certain components last for me)

I refuse to contribute to trail litter. Every other ride it seems like I have someone asking me if I saw a comp on the trail because they lost theirs.

Set it to day time mode and use it a clock :)

I get more value from mine as an altimeter than as a odometer, but it's also great for clocking a regular timed climb I do, and sometimes for even pushing myself a little harder to beat a previous time on a particular route.
