i've bought this new mountain bike.. it's just a coincidence cause the next wik.. me and my friends decided to go hiking.. well as the term implies "mountain bike".. i would just like to ask if it is okei to bring the bike while going through the mountain.. well i'm just afraid that it is not suitable for the place and i'm afraid that i may not ride it well on the place...i hope some one can help me.. thanks benedick_manansala@yahoo.com

What kind of bike? Bikes are not for hiking -more riding...I'd test or maybe visit a bike shop for a tune up first.

It wouldn't be much fun to be the only biker in a group of hikers.

Make sure you check the access status of the trails you'll be on...bikes may not be allowed.
