Hubs or New Wheels???

Hey Guys, been out for a while, but back now..(new baby). I have a Bianchi Grizzly with a set of Mavic CrossRoc UST rims. I am wanting to go with Disk brakes. Only thing is, my hubs are not Disk compatable. I have been looking around at some pricing. Would it be better to get new hubs and put them on my wheel I have now, or buy a whole new wheelset? Any less expensive suggestions out there? I have looked at the Mavic Crossland I believe they are called. They run about $249 i believe. Gotta find a wheel to support my weight... <---Clyde #200+ Thanks

I would get a whole new wheelset. These rims are supposed to be nice and strong. I think a few people here have them. Hopefully they can chime in with their opinions on them

They are heavy but thats obviously a drawback of any real strong rim.

Those look nice and strong. Sorry for the dumb question in advance, but if I have UST wheels, do I have UST Tires? If I have UST Tires, will I have to look for UST replacement wheels?

it depends on the price of the wheel, i got a new front wheel to fit on a front disc brake, i got a decent wheel on it, its got xt hub. I bought a new wheel because it would have worked out the same price as buying a new hub and getting the old rim built on to it. (i bought the wheel off ebay) so basicly unless its going to work out much cheaper for you to just buy a hub, then buy a whole new wheel.
