28 spokes
So a few of the touring folks are railing on me for considering a Trek 920. it has 28 spoke wheels, 29 x 2.0 tires. They swear I and the "Zombie Killer" will collapse before the end of the parking lot. Since some of you mountain bikers ride 28 spokes, please tell me about your experience.
Thanks! much appreciated. |
No one is railing on you. Disagreement is not a personal attack. No one said that the bike would collapse either.
Here's a suggestion. You've done your homework. Why don't you just buy the bike? There are posters here who have told you what a great bike the Trek 920 is. There were some fair questions raised about the amount of money you want to sink on modifications and but at the end of the day, this is your bike and your money. This is also the umpteenth thread you've started on the same topic. Just buy the Trek 920 since that is what you want. http://www.bikeforums.net/touring/10...ds-brakes.html http://www.bikeforums.net/touring/10...ight-fast.html http://www.bikeforums.net/touring/10...t-touring.html http://www.bikeforums.net/touring/10...l-bicycle.html http://www.bikeforums.net/touring/10...ul-how-do.html http://www.bikeforums.net/touring/10...d-touring.html http://www.bikeforums.net/touring/10...d-bicycle.html http://www.bikeforums.net/touring/10...g-bicycle.html http://www.bikeforums.net/touring/10...ire-width.html http://www.bikeforums.net/mountain-b...28-spokes.html |
