Need Information on Seat post clamp

I have a 2004, American made Trek 4900. I need a new Seat Post clamp but do not know where to get one. I went to my local LBS and bought the biggest clamp they had with quick release and it is still too small, so I do not know where to go from here. My problem is the stock part has this flimsy rubber washer between the quick release and the seat post clamp and it has finally deteriorated. Unfortunately I cannot source the rubber washer either. Can anyone help me? Thanks

call trek or mail them. they might be helpfull. Why do you need a new clamp? also, LBS, means local bike shop, so no need to day local LBS.

The little rubber piece ripped between the clamp and quick release. The '04 had a funny shape on the clamp end, it was knurled and not flat. My bike shop does not have anything big enough to fit over the post.

Get a pair of calipers and measure the OD of the seat-tube and then have your LBS order you the right clamp from QBP.
