I have been thinking about this for awhile: A nearby school has an awsome roof huck to tranny. The runup is about 30 to 40 feet, so that's pretty good (speed-wise). The landing is on a perfect slope so if I hit it fast enough I should land without injury. This is coming down to a matter of "do I hav the balls to do it?". Getting my bike on top of the roof is no problem since there is a tree nearby to climb up, so should I really do this on a hardtail? What does everyone think?

What's @ the end of the slope? Enough room to safely ride down? You'll be carring some speed off there at that height.

Ok, so I went there today and i realised that the gap between the wall and the grass is bigger than I thought. It's actually about 8 feet, not 5. It looks like I might have to build a small kicker up on the roof, other than that I going to go for it.
P.S. Im going to wait until I get my new tires, then do it (they will soften the drop more)
