Maxxis tire label?
Is there any difference between a Maxxis tire with a white label vs the yellow label I see on all their other tires? The specs on the sidewall are all the same. Maybe this is an OEM tire that was taken off a factory bike or maybe they switched to yellow labels later? Thanks.

If it's the same model tire, I'd guess it's probably just a different year than what's currently out.
I know the Ardent tire used to have a yellow Maxxis logo, now they're black/white, and also come in skinwall for the non tubeless variety. That said, there are different versions of the Ardent, all with their own labeling as well.

I think the ones with the yellow label are a secret code for This tire is 20% under advertised size...or maybe that's just every tire Maxxis sells.
