I was on vacation last week and got to go bike riding every day. Visited The Kingdom Trails in VT for 2 days and have some pics of a trail that winds down off of Burke Mtn. I have been there a lot of times but this is the first time I brought a camera
The pics are not that great because 1. It was raining and 2. It was 6:00 am and 3. I suck at photography. But the trail kicks ass. The pic of the bike is supposed to show it caked with mud, but In that pic it looks clean. This is definately a xc trail network, not to much in the way of freeriding. LAter |

Is that a 2003 Epic bike? How do you like it?

Ive been to Kingdom trails twice. They are pretty fun but not really my type of riding. And its a 3hr drive there from where I live. I imagin its a long drivefrom new york too.

It is my first and only dually. the rear suspension works as advertised. I don't have the adjustable brain on the 03'. Sometimes at slow speeds it does not soak up every root. But that is the compromise and I am willing to make it. Because it is a rocketship. It feels flat out faster than other dual susp. bikes I have ridden. Sent the fork and rear suspension back for the routine maintenance and that is the only shop maintenance I have had to do on it in 2+ years. It will probably be the only dually I will ever buy because I dont wan't or need further 'plushness'. I think you can't go wrong with fox in front and back. |
