Industrial,
This is an mtb forum. I think youre looking for a forum that allows these... http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B0...CLZZZZZZZ_.jpg |
LMFAO!!
I just read that whole topic there sasquatula! Ok Industrial, march rite down to a local bike shop, and challange someone there to a race. And by race, what do you meen just on cement pedalling as fast as you can, or actually doing things on trails? If it is on trails I will garuntee you you will not win against anyone that races at a bikeshop around you. No way. Keep in mind there has to be restrictions though, If he races downhill, chances are he is running an 8 speed while you are running a 21, with totally diferent gear combinations. And you say you can beat anyone around where you live, and then you said you are a country boy, that means you dont live around anyone. You have to take everything into consideration when you are racing, because beating a guy on a perfectly flat surface when you have 21 gears and he has 8 is nothin to be proud of. I am sure you didn't know that though, by reading that other topic and what you said I can already tell your not the coldest beer in the fridge. |
"you're not the coldest beer in the fridge" - noice! haven't heard that one yet...lol
Industrial, you need to get a clue. I realize most 16 year old boys are cocky a$$holes, but you top the cake on this one. Like ridehard said, you're the best of the 'country folk'...which ain't sayin' much. And if you think a $350 bike is 'high-end' you are pretty naive about the mt. biking industry. I have a bike of that value, and it is most certainly NOT high end. It serves its purpose well though, and I love it. But it'd be really easy for me to spend another grand on a bike (and I don't race or do pro-level stuff) - good bikes don't come cheap. Just like anything else in life. Get yourself in a real bike race - and then we'll see how you stack up against everyone else. There is no honor in humiliating people because you are faster than them. That is an immature and rude thing to do - grow up. Just because you're faster than them doesn't neccesarily mean you're a better person. One of life's greatest lessons is learning to be humble, and learning what you can from people that cross your path. - b |
