When you look at this bike...

...whats the first thing that comes to mind? If the designer asked you for "feedback" what would you say?

norcodirtjumper 05-29-05 07:25 PM

Id say "i love the "beef-y-ness", but slap a new fork on it."

ridehard 05-29-05 07:29 PM

"Awsome bike put on some hayes hxf-9's and a Marzocchi all mountain fork"
why do you ask?

Or any Marzocchi fork. Id prefer 66vf 150mm.

Funkychicken 05-29-05 07:32 PM

looks like a beefed up kids bike.

ridehard 05-29-05 07:37 PM

When I look at that, I think of Banshee bikes..?

troie 05-29-05 07:40 PM

Does it look small? Like it was designed for kids?

madbiker555 05-29-05 07:49 PM

It looks like it has 24' wheels.

southern91love 05-29-05 07:51 PM

nirvanaschains 05-29-05 10:14 PM

Yeah...those wheels look way to big, i'm thinking it looks like a monster truck.

I'd say "why?"

MadMan2k 05-29-05 10:17 PM

Looks like a DH hardtail to me... 24" double tracks (i think 24), nice fat downhill tires. Fork should be a dual crown...

southern91love 05-29-05 10:23 PM

**** why doenst anyone see, enlongated throat???

MadMan2k 05-29-05 10:27 PM

I'd say, "nice bike but why the short wheelbase?"

Great bike. I would love to have it, probably would change the fork.

anthonaut 05-30-05 01:13 AM

Not bad. I wouldn't get one.

UCSDbikeAnarchy 05-30-05 01:17 AM

It looks way out of proportion to me, but I ride a really long FS XC bike.

I have heard good things about the hydro discs, but I have the avid mechs, and I have never felt like I needed anything more.

Philly 05-30-05 01:23 AM

The smaller things on the bike are nice like the chain guide and rims.
But the frame looks abit too beefy for a dirtjumping kinda bike. I just dont like beefy jumpers.
Also the fork is abit dodgy. I'm not sure if its a stance or a sherman by the pic. But i definetly recommend a marzocchi dirt jumper 1 or 2 fork for it cos of the big drop outs and crown on them.

Cornish_Rdr_UK 05-30-05 07:46 AM

24 Inch wheels are used all the time over here for dirt jumping, ive heard that on the other side of the pond 26 is used more...

Too me it looks nice, i love shermans anyway, and the 24 inch wheels will make it very nice in the air, as Madman said, a DH hardtail..
