New suspension fork!

So, I got a new bike last August (Fuji Nevada 1.8) it's a beginners bike. I expected the parts to last a little while, and to hold up to beginner abuse. They have done their job and now I want to start replacing parts. The fork is sr suntour piece of crap. My bike needs a 1 1/8 inch fork with 9mm axles, 27.5 and my tires right now are 2.20. I don't want to spend a bunch of money, so any suggestions are extremely helpful. Thanks!

Check out Suntour's upgrade program if you haven't already.

Use the above program to get a Suntour RAIDON XC LO R AIR. It's a quality air fork available with 9mm QR. Should be ~$200.

The Expion for $300 is a very nice fork upgrade, but I believe both are disc only forks.

A Rockshox Recon Silver Air runs around 220 bucks on Amazon.

All decent forks require disc brakes. To be honest, if your current bike doesn't have disc brakes you have two options, fix things cheaply (no upgrades) or buy a new bike.

I do already have disc brakes.
