Trek Frame Warranty Transfer - buying used

Does the Trek lifetime frame warranty transfer to a new owner?

I am considering a 2017 Trek Fuel 9.7, with only 10hrs supposedly, the seller says they are willing to take reasonable offers. The starting price is high but if the warranty is transferable any savings is savings.

When I bought my Trek used, the seller (original owner) said I could contact him if I have any warranty issues. I saved his number for that reason, but hope I never have to use it.

This is not as easy has making the warranty claim yourself, but it is something.
