F700 resto mod
 

I'm thinking about picking up a f700 frame and slowly upgrading it with a 650b wheels and perhaps a lefty fork. It has a 1 1/8th threadless headshock set up already but it looks like it hasn't seen sun in. A while. Feels like the perfect platform for a slow project.

Headshox are 1.5" or 1 9/16" from memory. You can get 1 1/8" fork adapters.

I have a f1000 frame I've been thinking about doing a 650B conversion to, but the Lefty needs a damper rebuild so I don't think it's economic.

Glad to see this thread as I have a 2003 F500 I'd like to convert to 27.5. Mine will be a headshock to standard suspension fork with headset adapter. Will also need to check rear frame clearance for rear
