Looks like your going for the value section. Big question though is do you want a fully rigid or hard tail?

The specialized costs more (?) and seems to have components that are maybe one tick above the giant, as well as having a suspension fork.

They're almost identical though really, besides the fork.

I see a suspension fork on both models. I would say that both are equally good values for the money. Component levels and prices seem commensurate.

Pretty certain the Giant is a rigid front with rack mounts. Nice bike really, might have to keep a lookout for a used one cheap.

yeah it cost more, also I like the fork on the specialized model, but I'm not sure if it really worth it?

So which one is better for the Road because I will mostly use it on the Road.

I personally do not like suspension on the road.

I think if I'm not mistaken both bikes got suspension, but I'm not a biker who gonna ride most of the day.
I just need to ride sometimes, but I'm lost between these two brands I don't know which one is better.

Are you asking about the ATX model, or the ARX? Your original post said ARX. It turns out there is an ATX with suspension, and an ARX without it.

The Specialized Pitch costs more, and you're getting a few nicer parts in return for the extra money. Both bikes seem to me to be priced appropriately.

I would say that both bikes are priced appropriately based on their component levels. The extra $75 buys you an eight-speed drivetrain, a touch nicer rear derailleur, and there are other minor differences like the lock-on grips.

What are you doing with this bike? You said it will mainly see road use, what else? Commuting?

I wonder because like I said earlier, the giant aRx has a solid fork with spots for fenders and rack, so that's awesome. With the fat tires you won't need suspension to soak up bumps, jump 6" curbs, etc.

If it was me I'd buy the rigid, then buy a used air shock to swap on if I really needed it.

I have a Giant mtb, so I'm biased for Giant. Giants been in the game a long time and it's hard to beat on price vs quality.

In the end, doesn't really matter. Buy what looks good/fits the best/is most convenient for you.

Also look for deals on 2017 models.
