Mountain Biking Oregon (Coast)

We are planning a trip through Oregon. We’ll hit Bend (where we’ve ridden before) and Ashland where Trailforks says there are lots of trails. Are there other ‘don’t miss’ areas to ride in Oregon? We are especially interested in trying the coast. But Trailforks shows almost no trails there.

When is the earliest time to plan for good riding in any of the areas named?

If you find yourself in Florence, Oregon, and are an avid off-roader, you may like the Pioneer trail, a mostly forgotten, overgrown, mostly hiking trail. It's only a mile or two of dirt, and it is steep and twisty, but it is about 12 miles inland, off North Fork Siuslaw, a beautiful, and mostly traffic-free ride.
