Time to sell

Hey and thanks in advance. I bought a 2016 giant trance 3 27.5. Back then I wanted to ride and I took it out maybe 4 times on a small flat trail around a lake. I guess I just never had fun. Itís basically bran new. Never even got the bike dirty sadly. I feel like it was a waste of a purchase and I only hadnít sold it because I know itís a massive loss. I came across a bike blue book and excellent condition suggests around $950. I guess thatís about right? Anyways I thought I would ask if it is about what I should sell for before I put it up on Craigslist or something. Thanks again

Mods may want to move this to the For Sale forum.

Your location would be useful, as well as the size, particularly the size as Giant calls it - S, M, L, etc....

Maybe a pic. as well.

I would try it on rougher terrain. I bet the rougher it gets, the more fun the ride. How much was it brand new?

I would ask for more then. You said it was still brand new, and it's got pedals. It's a great deal for someone, but increase the price some because of its excellent value.

Bicycle blue book is not an official source for bike value. Their value is based on an algorithm and not used bike sales. You really need to look at comparable bikes for sale as well as sold listings on eBay to get an idea of value.

If you weren't in a hurry you could list it high and slowly lower it till it sells.

It is a $2k bike brand spanking new with a warranty. $1500 and be happy if you get $1200.

Giant warranty (as with most bike manufacturers) is original owner only, not transferable
