A bike for my size???

Anyone recommend a mtb for a guy who's 5'2" and 145 pounds?

how about what kind of riding you want to do, how much your willing to spend....

Primarily city street riding. Thought about a hybrid but feel more comfy on a mountain. Plan on spending $500 Canadian which works out to about $400 US.
