Thanks. Campagnolo had a hi-lo hub back in the 1970s. The right flange was the large flange, left side low flange. That helps even out the spoke angles. This one is reversed so I called it lo-hi. I don't know what Specialized's thinking was. The disc takes up less space than the cassette so I would think Campagnolo had it right. Not having the original bike, I don't know the amount of spoke or rim offset. It was in the parts bin and the hub seems to be fine. Wheels get trashed for any number of reasons.

Ha!. For a few years one of the better bike shops in town sent all their broken wheels to the local coop. So many mass produced boutique wheels with cracked rims. All made in China, taken off Treks and Felts. The hubs were okay but most were set up for the oddball spoke patterns for those fancy wheels they aren't much use for anything.
