Good trail bike for about 1350$ (VAT excluded)
I'm quite new to mountain bikes in general, but, as said in the title, I'm looking for a good trail bike around the 1350$ mark. I'm not expecting to be able to buy one until after summer with the current shortage, but it would be nice to be prepared when bikes come back in stock. The only one I've seen that seems reasonable for the price is the Canyon Stoic 3, but I'm sure I've missed a lot of bikes that you would be able to recommend.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Pretty much every major brand has one in this category. You are not lacking anything, everything is sturdy and functional. But you do have some compromises. You have the heaviest, simplest, most-steel least-aluminum versions of the drivetrain and fork. To get enough better to matter, though, you are looking up towards two grand.
