what tire pressures for street?

What kind of pressures are you guys running for urban street riding/trials/skatepark stuff? I just got some street tires (Specialized Nimbus EX) . I wanted the Hookworms but they were more than 3 times the price at the lbs. They are 1.5 inches wide and I've been running about 50 psi in them. I'm starting to get more into street/urban stuff and I've been riding the skatepark a bit as well so I'm worried if I run a lower pressure I'll pop the tube. They feel really hard though over all the bumps though...do I just have to endure the bumps or can I lower the pressures?

Check the sidewall and see the min and max pressure. This is where you want to be.
Higher pressure is for speed and lower pressure is for traction. If your riding on the street and tricking and such, I would use less pressure. I would try the min setting and go from there.
Yoou have to play with it and see what works. I ride trails and run 45 .I used to run 55 but that was to hard and I would slip around muddy turn. With the lower pressure I dig right in.
Have fun

50PSI for 1.5" slicks is pretty low...
I have RItchey tom slicks 1.4, i run them at 75PSI in front, and 85 in the rear. They roll nicely
