diamond back outlook serial number location?
I have recently purchased a DB outlook mountain bike from a friend but I don't know what year it is and I can't locate the serial number anywhere, it's not under the crank on the from does anybody know where else they might have put it? I would greatly appreciate the input

It looks like that bike is a pretty bottom end hybrid maybe more on the "mtb" side of things. They were generally about $200 new and more modern ones have gone up in price but are still a similar variant. Sometimes companies put it on the headtube or one of the seatstays or chainstays. If you get up to 10 posts in the various ACTIVE threads in the forum and then post pictures we can date it easily but I wouldn't put much time or money into it.
