What's your excuse?
 

The other day I was sittin' around bench racing with a fellow racer and realized this guy makes me laugh. Granted, I am not the fastes and when I crash I can say where I screwd up. But every time the subject comes up he has some stupid excuse. This last one was the best yet. After two full days of practice runs, he crashes hard in the race, I asked what happend and he said, "I did not know that tree was there" The tree he is talking about is the only one within 50 yards, there are no turns in front of it, no jumps or drops, nothing. So was I to believe that this tree had mysteriously grown in the corse of 2 hours? This got me to thinkin' what other excuses are used.

Did he yell "on your left!" before attempting to pass the tree? Maybe it didn't know he was overtaking, got startled, and swerved into him... :p
