Yea, if you bite too hard on the mouthpiece it can get stuck open. Just need to treat it gently with the lips, just like the ladies like. ;-)

So, does anyone have some magic way of getting rid of mould from the tube of a CBak, I'm sure I can't be the only one to have ever had this problem.

Thanks a lot for any help and/or ideas.

Some have said that Camelbak has been at the top of the heap for too long and doesn't innovate. I disagree. They used to taste terrible (plastic taste), but the latest blue bladders to not impart taste to the water. Also, the big screw-on lid design allows the hand to be completely inserted into the bladder for easy cleaning. They are also "bacteria resistant." I don't think this is bull, because (using only water) mine almost never gets nasty, where my clear Platypus drinking tube used to grow mold like crazy. Get the cleaning kit that others have mentioned. The long tube brush is a must have. Some of the recommendations regarding bleach are a bit extreme (i.e.: half a cup of bleach!!!). It really takes only a few drops in a quart of water. Otherwise, the mold will be gone but the bleach taste will permeate the bladder and will make you want to puke when you take your next drink.

As for the hydrapacks being touted, they are OK, but the bladders develop leaks easily (in my experience) and I think their closing system is rinky-dink.

And Raiyn, I couldn't have said it better myself!! Yeah, Killer B, I'm English so that's how I'll spell it. Cheers anyway for your advice.
