Trek Bruiser 1 - Your Thoughts?

i just got back from my lbs, and they had a trek bruiser 1 in stock for $369 (msrp $409.99). What is your opinion of this bike? Is it worth it? (Im a beginner doing trails, jumping, and some freeriding). the guy said it was good for that type of riding because it is a tough bike. Thanks.

my thoughts are to do what i did. get a specialized hardrock instead.

The hardrock is a good bike, but if your going to be abusing it (and it sounds like you are) the Trek will take more.

edit: nvm im dumb

i went to another lbs and the guy said that the hardrock sport was better, so thats what i ended up getting. its an 06 and very sweet.

Well concrats on that.

Bruiser, Hardrock, you'd have fun on both. Good luck, man!

To continue using stuff like nvm rather than typing it out even after I've busted you a dozen times? I'd say so:p
