Well, I am finally gettin my bike on friday. And I can finally start to mountain bike. My bike is more then likely a Specialized P.2. If you have any quick ideas about anything I should do before I attack the trails this is the thread to do so in.

I cant friggin wait.

What Mael said. Plus, if your coming from road riding, you'll have to develop different skills a bit. If you're comin' from BMX or something like that, well, I'd think you'd be pretty well set, depending on what kind of shape you're in. Good luck!
