You know you're riding to much if.....
Well, over the past few weeks, I've noticed that my riding habits have dramatically increased. I now ride almost daily for at least 2 hours. Maybe I'm getting to obsessed??
I've also noticed that since I'm riding so much that my hands are slowly becoming huge callus's even with gloves on.
-You know your riding to much if you have giant callus's for hands....

When I am driving my car on the road and there are a few bumps I start to think about the air pressure(sp?) in the shocks and how much travel I have left.

I ride 3-4 hours a day now because school is over! Cheers to anyone who has two months of riding. I get calluses on my hands, but they have turned hard and built up a few extra layers of skin to protect my hands.

My hands are covered in callouses as well. Its a biking thing.
Some people "clip out" of the accellerator pedal when they need to put their foot on the brake.

A buddy of mine plays college ball up at Tech and he says that A LOT of the guys piss on their hands, it makes them hard and tough. A couple of major leaguers, supposedly, do it as well. Anyone who plays without gloves, supposedly, pisses on their hands.

Haha, either way, something interesting to discuss. So who all would piss on their hands to make them hard?

Not me, I worked construction, factory and weight lifted for years. I got calluses the old fashioned way. My granfather would likely beat me to a pulp if I got my calluses in that method...

Plus - deep down, they do like it when we're not couch potatoes. If they don't, they're wierd and wouldn't ever understand why it is more important that you go out on your bike rather than mow the lawn (right now, mister!).
