Cannondale Jekyll

Does anyone own or know of someone who owns a Cannondale Jekyll? I have been doing alot of research on FS bikes and this one seems to always pop out at me and say "BUY ME"!!. A guy I ride with every once in a while has one and really likes his, but is thinking of getting a Specialized FSR. I have never ridden his bike or any FS bike for that matter. I am wondering about pedal feedback, shocks used, handling, etc. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanx

I am in the same boat.
Try to decide between Jekyl, Rocky M. Slayer, Specialized Enduro or RM ETS-X
Any experience, recomandation, ... So far I only testrode Slayer and really like it

The Jeykell is not a good bike. Old suspension, crappy parts. MountainBike action did a shoot out I think in the April issue, and it came in last....by far.

The ETS-X has been reviewed before also by i think Bikemag. It seems like a good bike.

As for the Enduro, I have an FSR Comp, and the suspension is the best in its class. Enduro's has always held high reviews.
Check out www.mtbr.com for reviews on this stuff.

Go to www.mbaction.com and go to the "Ask RC" column and ask a question, otherwise try posting around various boards.

I have to admit, I agree. I nearly opted for the Jekyll, and it was the Lefty that almost swung it. Maybe the Jekyll is a good bike, but it seemed to lack something. Guys at the lbs were also a bit dubious about it, though they were more positive about the upper range models. I think the top end Jekylls have been surpassed by the Gemini. Perhaps they are bikes with different missions, but I think my Gemini is ounce-for-ounce, pound-for-pound a better deal. My $0.02 worth.
